The Pangio cuneovirgenta – also known as the dwarf kuhli loach – is a small, mysterious bottom-dwelling fish species from Southeast Asia. With its slender, eel-like body, long barbels, and distinctive color and stripe pattern, this fish is a very attractive inhabitant for naturalistic aquariums.
Pangio cuneovirgenta is rather shy and prefers quiet, dark corners and plenty of hiding places. Its calm and peaceful nature makes it well-suited for community tanks with non-aggressive tank mates.
