Characteristics:
- Size : This shrimp species reaches a size of about 2.5 to 3 cm. The females are usually slightly larger and more massive than the males.
- Coloration : The Tiger Bee Black shrimp has a dark to deep black body with fine, lighter tiger patterns throughout. The patterns can vary in intensity and density and give each shrimp an individual appearance.

Attitude:

- Water values : This shrimp species requires soft water with a pH value between 6.0 and 7.5. The water temperature should be between 18 and 24 °C. Stable water conditions and regular water changes are essential for the health of the shrimp.
- Food : The Tiger Bee Black shrimp's diet consists mainly of algae, biofilm and detritus, but it should be supplemented with special shrimp food, plant foods such as spinach or seaweed leaves and occasionally high protein foods.
- Reproduction : Under optimal conditions, the Tiger Bee Black shrimp can be easily bred. The females carry the eggs for about 3 to 4 weeks before the young shrimp hatch. The young are small but relatively independent and should be raised in well-filtered water with sufficient microorganisms.
