Riccia fluitans is a very versatile liverwort that can be used both freely floating on the water's surface and attached to hardscape . It forms light green, finely branched mats and provides a fresh, vibrant look in the aquarium. Riccia fluitans is particularly popular in nature and Iwagumi aquascapes .
When tied to stones or grids, it forms a dense, compact carpet of moss, while when floating it provides natural shade and a valuable retreat for young fish and shrimp.
This variant is supplied in vitro in a sterile cup and is therefore 100% free of snails, algae and pesticides – ideal for shrimp, nano and aquascaping tanks .
