Pogostemon Helferi

Although the plant has long been scientifically described, it only found its way into aquariums a few years ago.

With its decorative, strongly wavy leaf edges, it is one of the most attractive foreground plants.

At first glance you might think it is a rosette plant, but in fact it is a very compressed stem plant.

If basic cultivation conditions such as good to intensive lighting, temperatures around 25 °C and medium-hard water are maintained, the Pogostemon helferi develops beautiful plant cushions. Under these conditions, it shines in a rich green.
