The Panda Garra ( Garra flavatra ) is a fascinating and rare suckerfish from the clear, fast-flowing mountain streams of Myanmar. It owes its name to its striking, high-contrast coloration of black bands on a light background – a real eye-catcher in the aquarium!
This robust and peaceful species is known for its lively behavior and excellent algae-eating abilities. Panda Garras are very active and love to graze in groups on rocks and roots, searching for algae.
