The L288 Una Tiger Pleco ( Peckoltia sp. ) is a beautiful, rare L-number catfish from the Rio Una in Brazil. With its golden-yellow base color and contrasting, dark vertical stripes, it resembles the fur of a tiger – hence the name "Una Tiger Pleco". This striking pattern and its calm temperament make it a true gem in any South American aquarium.
The L288 remains compact, reaching a final size of around 10–12 cm, and is a peaceful, calm bottom dweller that integrates well into community aquariums. It prefers slightly acidic, soft water and loves hiding places among roots and rocks.
