- Food : The diet of these shrimp consists mainly of algae, detritus and microorganisms. They can be supplemented with special shrimp food, vegetables such as zucchini or spinach and protein sources such as Artemia.
- Reproduction : The reproduction of the Indian Zebra Shrimp is relatively uncomplicated. Females carry the eggs for about 3 to 4 weeks before the young shrimp hatch. The young are able to feed themselves, but require good water quality and sufficient hiding places.
