The Indian Green Shrimp ( Caridina cf. babaulti ) is a fascinating dwarf shrimp that stands out due to its bright green coloring. Characteristics:
- Size : The Indian Green Shrimp grows to about 2.5 to 3 cm in size, with the females usually being slightly larger and stronger than the males.
- Coloration : Its intense green color varies depending on the lighting conditions and the stress level of the animals. Under ideal conditions, the shrimp glows in a strong, emerald green color.
- Behavior : These shrimp are peaceful and sociable. They prefer the company of other shrimps and spend their time searching the substrate and plants for food. They can be kept well with other peaceful shrimp species and small fish.
Attitude:
