Eriocaulon cinereum is a small, attractive aquarium plant that is particularly popular for aquascaping and nano aquariums. It is characterized by its compact, rosette-like growth habit and has narrow, grass-like leaves that extend symmetrically from the center of the plant. Its dense, spherical shape and fresh green make it a real eye-catcher in the foreground or middle ground of the aquarium.
Eriocaulon cinereum is relatively demanding to care for, as it requires bright light and CO2 fertilization to thrive optimally. A nutrient-rich substrate is also important to support growth. This plant prefers soft, slightly acidic water and a temperature of 20-26°C.
Eriocaulon cinereum is ideal for accentuating aquarium layouts and brings a natural and harmonious atmosphere to the tank with its interesting shape and color. With the right care, it develops into one of the most impressive plants in the aquarium and is therefore particularly popular with advanced aquarists.
