**Eleocharis pusilla – The perfect ground cover for nano aquariums**
The dwarf needle rush, also known as Eleocharis parvula, is a delicate grass plant that originates from Australia and New Zealand. It only grows up to 5 cm high and is easily recognized by its slightly curved, fine stalks. Due to its low height, it is ideal as a ground cover in the foreground and is also ideal for nano aquariums.
**Fast spread and easy reproduction:**
Eleocharis pusilla reproduces quickly via runners that form dense carpets. To propagate, simply cut off a piece of the runner with daughter plants and plant it in a new location. This makes it easy to propagate the plant and integrate it into different areas of the aquarium.
