Large Amazon plant Echinodorus grisebachii Bleherae

The large Amazon sword plant is one of the most popular plants in aquariums. Its leaves are 3 to 6 cm wider than those of the 'amazonicus' variant, and with a height of up to 60 cm, this species appears particularly dominant.

Older specimens with over 50 leaves are impressive eye-catchers. To ensure that the root system can develop optimally, the substrate should be at least 10 cm deep. In combination with Helanthium species (dwarf chinodorus), beautiful underwater landscapes in the South American style are created.
