The Dwarf Pleco cearensis ( Parotocinclus cearensis ) is a rare, small wild-caught fish from the clear flowing waters of Brazil. With its delicate size of only about 4 cm, it is one of the smallest members of the armored catfish family. Its attractive pattern of fine lines and spots makes it a true gem for nano and community aquariums.

This peaceful mini-catfish is an extremely efficient algae eater and ideally suited for planted aquariums. Its calm nature and undemanding nature also make it an excellent choice for smaller aquariums.
