The Blue Zebra Hillstream Loach ( Gastromyzon sp. "Blue Zebra" ) is an exceptionally beautiful wild-caught fish from the clear, fast-flowing mountain streams of Borneo. Its unique blue and black striped pattern and metallic sheen make it a true highlight in any flowing aquarium.
This species is among the most peaceful and interesting hillstream loaches. With their flat, clinging bodies and large pectoral fins, Blue Zebra Hillstream Loaches are perfectly adapted to strong currents and spend a lot of time gliding over rocks and roots, grazing on fine algae.
