Alternanthera reineckii 'Rosanervig' in pot

The pink-veined parrot leaf impresses with its striking, strong pink-red leaves with light, pink leaf veins. Compared to other variants, Alternanthera reineckii 'Rosanervig' grows more compactly and somewhat slower.

It offers a great color contrast in the middle ground of larger aquariums and in the background of smaller ones. With regular pruning, which it tolerates well, it can even be used as a foreground plant. The cut shoots are ideal as cuttings: simply place them in the substrate and they will quickly form new roots.

Optimal lighting conditions, a good supply of nutrients and CO2 promote the bright coloring and ensure a compact growth form of the plant.
