Echinodorus grisebachii 'Tropica'

The Echinodorus bleheri from South America is an easy-care and attractive aquarium plant. A nutritious substrate promotes its growth, so that it can reach a height of 25 to 40 cm. However, it is important to prune the plant regularly so that it does not take too much light away from the plants growing underneath.

Echinodorus bleheri also thrives in dimly lit aquariums, as it grows towards the light on its own. It is an easy-to-grow solitary plant that is suitable for both beginners and experienced aquarists with larger aquariums. It was previously known under the trade name "Paniculatus".
