**Dwarf Water Lily – Cryptocoryne parva – Tropica Pot**
The dwarf water lily, or Cryptocoryne parva, is the smallest species within the Cryptocorynes and is native to Sri Lanka. This plant usually reaches a height of 3-6 cm and is characterized by its compact size. Unlike other Cryptocorynes, the Cryptocoryne parva shows only minimal changes in leaf shape and color, regardless of the growing conditions.
**Care and requirements:**
To reach its full potential, the dwarf water lily needs more light than many other Cryptocorynes and should not be placed in the shade of other plants. By planting the specimens close together, a dense, connected planting will develop after about six months. These characteristics make the dwarf water lily an ideal choice for the foreground of your aquarium.
